We are so grateful for your prayers, support, and giving towards Phokos. Our July field report from Pastor Philip in Kenya has such positive news.
Our recent political skirmish in the country requires urgent divine intervention and prayers. Our missionaries are bravely visiting some of the most insecure places while doing ministry, and we urgently need your prayers. Currently, we have new missionaries who replaced the others who left due to work commitments and marital status changes. Kenya is at the crossroads of the new shift of Generation Z agitating for political reforms. The situation in the country is critical, and we request our gospel partners to remember us in prayers and encouragement so that we can continue serving despite the violence and the atrocities going on in the nation.
Our evangelism efforts and mercy ministry are bearing fruit in the communities we continue reaching out to. Churches are receiving new attendees due to evangelism efforts, and our name continues to grow around the city. Our commitment is growing as a group in Kenya, and the men we are doing interviews with are quite exposed to the gospel and have a strong desire to spread the gospel to their peer group even during the economic hardships affecting the nation. Most of our guys graduated recently from colleges and universities or soon graduating from school. This growth is a testament to the impact of our collective efforts and gives us hope for the future.
While we celebrate the good news of Kingdom growth, we want to let you know that your prayers, giving, and support make it possible for us to provide housing to Indigenous missionaries who are reaching Kenya, Pakistan & India for Christ. Your giving of $10, $20, or $50 dollars makes sure Kenya, Pakistan & India hear the gospel in a meaningful way. To give a gift, click here. Another great help is praying for our team; this month, will you pray for Pastor Philip? We encourage you to grab a post-it note or note card and place that near your computer, bible, or bathroom mirror to remind you to pray for our team. We love you and bless you in Jesus’ name!
